1. Scope of service
TreadlyAI provides a digital platform to support quality control processes in the footwear industry, including a mobile app for operators, analytics dashboards and artificial intelligence services. These Terms govern access to and use of all service components, regardless of whether they are in early access or general availability.
By registering or requesting access, you declare that you have authority to act on behalf of the organisation you represent and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Access to the platform may be obtained by direct invitation, by request through the contact form, or, where available, through self-registration. You must provide true, accurate and up-to-date information about your company and contacts.
TreadlyAI may suspend or revoke access whenever it detects non-compliance with these Terms, risks to platform security or fraudulent use. Access credentials are personal and non-transferable; the user is responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and for immediately reporting any suspected unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You may not copy, decompile, attempt to extract source code, publicly share features or results obtained on the platform, or use it to collect data unlawfully. Introducing malware, reverse engineering or circumventing security mechanisms is also prohibited.
Users agree to comply with applicable legislation, including personal data protection standards (GDPR), intellectual property and commercial confidentiality.
4. Data and confidentiality
Production and inspection data provided by users remains the property of their organisation. TreadlyAI processes such data exclusively to deliver the contracted service, improve AI models with explicit authorisation, and generate aggregated and anonymised performance metrics, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Technical, commercial or operational information shared by TreadlyAI is considered confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties without prior written authorisation.
5. Intellectual property rights
TreadlyAI, or its licensors, retains all rights over software, artificial intelligence models, interfaces, documentation and trademarks. The user receives a limited, revocable and non-exclusive licence to use the solution under the agreed terms.
Any feedback provided may be freely used by TreadlyAI to evolve the product, without any obligation to give credit or compensation.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided with reasonable care, but without warranty of continuous availability or freedom from errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TreadlyAI is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or disruptions resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
TreadlyAI's total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount paid by the customer for services in the twelve-month period preceding the event giving rise to liability.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service developments, new legal requirements or commercial changes. Whenever a material change occurs, we will communicate by email or platform notice at least 15 days in advance. Continued use after that period implies acceptance of the changes.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Lisbon, without prejudice to the user's right to resort to consumer alternative dispute resolution bodies.
